Junior Technician

AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line &amp; Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB 135 and ERJ 190 aircraft. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with experience working in a Base Maintenance environment. This role is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a rotational 5-5-4 day shift pattern. A degree of flexibility is expected including a requirement to work overtime if required. Possess valid Airframe and Power plant mechanics license and have adequate training and professional experience.
1 year previous experience providing work direction in a leader role, motivating and mentoring employees preferred.
2 years previous supervising experience preferred
Possess valid driver's license.
PC proficiency using Microsoft Office suites, word, excel, power point and outlook.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to read, understand and follow maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams
May be required to work nights, weekends, or holidays.
Requires some travel.
Ability to use ladders, work stands, lifts, etc. and be able to work on all areas of the aircraft that may require access during performance of duties.
Ability to lift, carry or move aircraft components weighing up to 50 lb.
Engine shop build and QEC experience is preferred
