Job Description

About the Company Airbus Defence and Space supports the Eurofighter programme at Spanish Air Force bases, including the EFA MRO air force bases at Los Llanos Air Base in Albacete. Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for a TMA Electrical Aircraft Maintenance Technician within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the EFA MRO air force bases in Albacete and will perform maintenance and support tasks for the Eurofighter programme. Inputs to the role are raw materials, tools, standard parts and components and documentation (technical instructions, job cards and technical manuals); the output is an assembly ready for testing with the associated production documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and modification. Perform system repairs. Perform first-level quality inspection. Perform functional tests of aircraft and components. Support Spanish Air Force operations by performing hourly and calendar inspections; maintenance activities are performed on Eurofighter aircraft. Ensure continuous improvement. Licences & Qualifications A B1.1 and/or B2 aircraft maintenance licence will be highly valued. Experience Previous experience in the maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components. Aircraft general systems knowledge for integration and test (ECS, fuel system, hydraulics, electrical systems and similar). Experience in manufacturing: tools and process awareness, technical documentation, manuals and drawings. Used to working with jigs and tools in aircraft and component maintenance. Continuous improvement profile and quality knowledge or experience. Requirements Proactive and collaborative mindset, as the work is performed at the customer's facilities.
