Role Overview This role is based out of Zurich. Are you the skilled, agile technician ready to deliver excellence where it matters most? As an AOG Technician you are the rapid response expert, providing immediate on-site maintenance support to resolve Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations. Your expertise in diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair minimises downtime and returns customer aircraft to service safely and efficiently. In this pivotal role you will collaborate across technical and logistics teams, adapt to dynamic environments and deliver world-class service under pressure. Your professionalism, customer focus and commitment to safety set the standard for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead rapid aircraft recovery: be first responder to AOG events, delivering immediate on-site maintenance support at both domestic and international locations. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, avionics and structural aircraft systems with precision and speed. Drive technical solutions and coordination: work with maintenance control, engineering and operations teams to determine corrective actions and expedite solutions. Manage AOG parts logistics: source and request components and coordinate shipments to ensure timely resolution. Keep stakeholders informed: liaise with customers, OEMs and Jet Aviation base maintenance stations to give real-time progress updates and build trust. Champion compliance and safety: uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance (EASA, FAA) and company procedures, complete accurate maintenance documentation and service reports, and support return-to-service authorisation together with certifying staff. Represent Jet Aviation: act as a trusted ambassador, delivering customer service excellence while adapting to irregular hours, diverse operational conditions and frequent travel. Requirements Technical expert and agile problem solver: deep knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting techniques and the aerospace MRO industry, thriving in high-pressure, time-critical situations with precision and accountability. Collaborative communicator: strong communication and coordination skills that build trust and teamwork across all stakeholders, with a clear customer service orientation. Adaptable, resilient and results-driven: comfortable with dynamic environments, frequent travel and irregular hours; self-motivated, detail-oriented and committed to safety. Global mindset: ready to travel internationally and work independently, with proficiency in English.
