About the Company Airbus Defence and Space SAU carries out aircraft production and testing activities in Spain, including work on the Eurofighter programme. Role Overview The role covers electrical assembly, integration and modification of electrical systems, including harness routing, electrical connection, soldering and crimping, together with basic electrical tests such as continuity and bonding checks, first level quality inspection and continuous improvement. Inputs are raw materials, tools, standard parts and components and documentation (technical instructions, work orders and job cards); the output is an assembly ready for testing with the associated production documentation. Key Responsibilities On the flight line Receive aircraft on the flight line. Prepare the aircraft for operational testing. Conduct engine ground runs. Take part in pre-flight launch activities. Execute final functional tests in an operational environment. Support maintenance and inspection tasks related to flight line operations. In the Final Assembly Line (FAL) Functional testing of avionics systems. Functional testing of mechanical systems. Verify the correct operation of aircraft equipment and systems. Initial detection and troubleshooting of incidents during testing. Adhere to technical procedures and maintenance documentation. Work in a coordinated way with other production and maintenance teams. Requirements Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT / TMA) training or qualification. Knowledge of avionics and aircraft mechanics. Interest in long-term career development within the Eurofighter programme and the defence sector. Licences & Qualifications Holding a B1 or B2 licence is an advantage.
