Avia Repair Co, the dedicated MRO subsidiary of BAA Training, is expanding its technical team. Role Overview The company is seeking an experienced EASA Part-66 B1.2 Licensed Engineer. As part of a growing aviation training and maintenance group, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued airworthiness, reliability and safety of the fleet. The position offers the opportunity to work in a professional, well-structured maintenance environment with strong support from both in-house technical specialists and the wider BAA Training organisation. Key Responsibilities Ensure that maintenance tasks and aircraft certification during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs are carried out to the highest possible standards of safety, quality and serviceability Ensure the appropriate application of certification privileges in accordance with the limitations of company authorisations Perform daily maintenance and repair work on the aircraft in cooperation with the technical team Carry out non-recurring and sustaining development, validation and delivery of technical aircraft maintenance data Cooperate with maintenance contractors, aircraft and equipment manufacturing plants and suppliers Ensure that all off-aircraft tasks, such as spares handling, are handled strictly in accordance with company procedures and that all relevant paperwork is completed in a way that provides full transparency to everyone involved Work according to approved company processes Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager Licences & Qualifications EASA Part-66 B1.2 licence, preferably with full Group 3 or with a type rating on the Cessna 172
Requirements
