About the Company Airbus Defence and Space SAU delivers military aircraft maintenance through its MRO Network organisation, with resident licensed maintenance teams at customer main operating bases in Spain. Role Overview New positions have arisen for an Aircraft B1, B2 or B1/B2 Maintenance Technician based at Matacan, Salamanca. Working as licensed maintenance staff within Airbus Defence & Space, the role includes performing and certifying maintenance tasks and supervising and certifying the tasks of unlicensed mechanics. The B1/B2 technician is based at the Matacan main operating base to support ML1 and ML2 activities within an MRO centre, working under the coordination of a nominated focal point and team leader, as part of the MRO Network organisation. Key Responsibilities Execute and certify both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of C295 fleets in a Customer Services environment. Supervise licensed and unlicensed mechanics and subcontractor or customer personnel. Undertake, individually or as part of a team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks and quality checks. Complete documentation in accordance with company and customer procedures. Deliver practical training to military personnel. Licences & Qualifications Licence (mandatory): B1/B2 licence. Experience Experience of working to high quality standards with an understanding of work recording and job traceability. Experience reading and understanding detailed technical data and manufacturer maintenance manuals and instructions in Spanish and English. Sound knowledge of aircraft health and safety procedures. A good standard of computer literacy. Requirements Languages: intermediate English and native Spanish. Candidates should be capable of attaining the necessary security clearance (SC) if required.
