Job Description

About the Company Airbus Defence and Space SAU carries out military aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul from its Getafe site in Spain, including resident support to Spanish Air Force operations. Role Overview Three vacancies have arisen for an MRO mechanic / electrician (TMA B1 / B2) within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, for Gando Air Base. The successful applicants join the MRO department and perform maintenance and support tasks for the Eurofighter programme. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and modification. Perform system repairs. Perform first level quality inspection. Perform functional tests of aircraft and components. Work from raw materials, tools, standard parts and components and documentation such as technical instructions, job cards and technical manuals, and deliver assemblies ready for testing with the associated production documentation. Support Spanish Air Force operations by performing hourly and calendar inspections; maintenance activities are performed on Eurofighter aircraft. Ensure continuous improvement. Experience Previous experience in maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components. Knowledge of aircraft general systems for integration and test, including ECS, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems. Experience in manufacturing: awareness of tools and processes, technical documentation, manuals and drawings. Continuous improvement profile with quality knowledge or experience. Accustomed to working with jigs and tools in aircraft and component maintenance. Requirements Proactive and collaborative mindset, as the work is performed at the customer's facilities.
