Role Overview For the future development of our Swiss entity in Zurich we are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (B1). Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop aircraft models, involving diagnosis of malfunctions and the required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare the aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to the customer. Check, correct or replace a variety of complex aircraft assemblies and optional equipment installations. Apply knowledge of the annual and progressive inspection procedures set out in the aircraft maintenance manuals. Perform modification work on aircraft systems and/or structures. Produce clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and parts identification for issue and return documents. Conduct functional checks, instrument tests and alignment, and the related preventive maintenance. Perform duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and the highest standards of safety, keeping aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for customer safety. Use a variety of tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies. Licences & Qualifications EASA B1 licence. Textron Aviation model type ratings preferred. European citizen or holder of a permit to work in Switzerland. Experience Hands-on experience as an aircraft maintenance technician. Highly self-motivated team player.
