About the Company Airbus Defence and Space SAU operates the A400M MRO Network, providing maintenance support to A400M operators through resident teams at customer main operating bases. Role Overview New positions have arisen for an A400M MRO Network maintenance B1 and/or B2 technician within Airbus Defence & Space. The position is based at Zaragoza Military Air Base in Spain and you must be available to work full time at that location. Working as part of an Airbus Defence & Space resident team within the A400M MRO Network, the role includes performing and certifying maintenance tasks and supervising and certifying the tasks of unlicensed mechanics at the customer's main operating base. Key Responsibilities Perform and certify both scheduled and unscheduled tasks previously agreed with the customer by Customer Services. Implement service bulletins, covering modifications not carried out at the Final Assembly Line or arising after aircraft delivery, and support the customer with various repairs and maintenance tasks. Manage small groups of non-licensed mechanics performing maintenance activities and coordinate and supervise their on-the-job training where needed. Contribute to setting up working processes and practices. Be involved in all aspects of technical support for a new advanced military transport aircraft. Licences & Qualifications Licence: EASA or EMAR Part-66 licence. Theoretical training without the basic 3 years of experience may also be accepted in particular circumstances. An included type rating is a plus. Experience Experience working to service bulletin and AMM documentation. Experience in MRO on a modern digital aircraft such as the A380 or A350. Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Languages: independent user level in English and Spanish.
