Role Overview This Mobile Repair Team (MRT) Technician role covers day-to-day operations of the MRT team and MRT support to customers across the Asia Pacific region, including MRT event administration and export control clearance checks. The position is onsite at 10 Loyang Crescent, Singapore. Key Responsibilities Perform and certify maintenance tasks, repairs and defect rectifications on Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engine series in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain the highest standards of airworthiness when performing inspections and maintenance tasks. Coordinate with the respective engine programmes, Field Support Managers (FSMs) and Customer First (CFirst) to provide on-site maintenance support and minimise engine down time for customers. Manage customer situations effectively through strong technical expertise, professional communication and responsive support. Liaise with customers to plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, define MRT work scopes and facilitate commercial and payment-related arrangements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, operations, engineering and quality to ensure successful deployment and completion of MRT events. Travel frequently, often at short notice, to customer facilities across the region to perform on-site engine maintenance and technical support; provide in-shop support as assigned. Support engine field recommendation and troubleshooting queries from customers, FSMs and CRM cases. Work in accordance with accepted safe and environmental practices, report unsafe conditions and practices, and make safety suggestions. Requirements Knowledge of gas turbine engine construction. Ability to troubleshoot service-related problems encountered by customers during operation of all P&WC engines. Ability to interpret technical standards, drawings, specifications and other relevant documentation to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies. Professional team player with a positive, adaptable attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage and collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders. Able to travel internationally at short notice and for extended periods to provide on-site customer support. Flexible to work shifts as operational needs dictate. Multi-tasking ability with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to quality. Licences & Qualifications CAAS B11, B13, C14, C15, M10/L11/L12 certification or equivalent is required. Diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years' aviation experience, with hands-on experience on gas turbine engines.
