Role Overview The Supervisor of Maintenance Vendor Operations supports the Maintenance Vendor Operations team in overseeing third-party maintenance providers and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards and regulatory obligations. The role monitors vendor performance, contributes to KPI development and drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reliability. It works cross-functionally with Maintenance, Ground Operations, Safety and Flight Operations, provides reporting, maintains key documentation and helps ensure adherence to company policies and FAA regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist and support the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations and other senior management in projecting a strong commitment to the uncompromising promotion of safety and regulatory compliance. Provide oversight of third-party maintenance providers, ensuring contractual obligations are met and operational performance expectations are achieved. Assist in creating Airworthiness Agreements and Letters of Procedural Authority for the respective maintenance providers. Facilitate the addition of fuelling vendors and on-call maintenance providers to the Learning Management System. Assist Ground Operations and the PSA Safety and Security department as required. Assist Flight Operations leadership where necessary to achieve superior operational performance. Assist the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations in developing and achieving performance KPIs. Apply continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with all required PSA policies, practices, procedures and processes. Compile and provide reports and data packages as required or requested. Keep the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations and senior management informed of all actual or potential negative conditions that may affect aircraft maintenance and ground operations. Submit monthly Maintenance Provider List (MPL) updates to the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations. Help maintain and complete the monthly review of the PSA Airlines Fueling Procedures Manual. Review third-party maintenance invoices for accuracy. Monitor and improve outstation vendor safety and reliability performance. Take responsibility for the company Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and the associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). Valid driver's licence. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and M&E software. Must hold, or be able to obtain, a U.S. passport or equivalent within 90 days. Ability to speak, read and write English. If hired, must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States. Preferred: advanced technical degree in engineering, aviation, business administration or a closely related discipline. Licences & Qualifications Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging and Hazmat Shipping Certification, and the ability to become a Hazmat trainer is required. Experience Experience with the management and administration of service contracts and agreements. Experience with vendor management and contracts. Preferred: experience with program management. Additional Information This is not a supervisory position and no specific authorities are assigned. In the incumbent's absence, responsibilities are delegated to the Manager of Maintenance Vendor Operations. Work environment: a professional office environment using standard office equipment, with up to 15% of the time spent outside in all types of weather. The role is largely sedentary, but the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lbs, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Security clearance: all employees must pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49 CFR 1542.209 and a pre-employment drug screen.
