Senior AME (A&C) within the Line Maintenance team, based Pan-India. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification (mandatory): 10+2 and AME Diploma (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) Desirable: Full-scope authorization on A-320 or ATR Work Experience (relevant/total): More than 5 years of certifying experience on A320 and 7+ years on ATR IT Skills: MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint Behavioural Competencies: Collaborative approach, good interpersonal skills, time management Job Responsibilities Ensure that his/her AME license/authorisation is current and valid on the type of aircraft/engine/systems to be certified. Carry out the inspection and certification of work pertaining to the maintenance of airframe and power plant systems and components within the scope of his/her licence/authorisation. Ensure that all work performed in connection with maintenance is in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of the manufacturers, and that approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials are used. Ensure all work orders and inspection schedules are properly completed and certified before issuing the CRS. Ensure that snags observed during inspections and those reported by the flight crew during flight are rectified by an approved method; major defects and rectifications are promptly reported and dealt with. Ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance are calibrated, in serviceable condition and not mishandled during use. Ensure that only approved materials and parts are used, and that approved spares have the necessary documentation and certification before installation on the aircraft. Follow the necessary caution and safety procedures while handling equipment and tools and carrying out any servicing of aircraft or components. Report to MCC/Shift In-Charge whenever any defect is reported by the flight crew or observed. Mentor technicians and ensure they have read the QAN, GIC and other technical instructions issued from time to time. Maintain discipline and a clean environment at the workplace. Be in full uniform and presentable as per company guidelines at all times while on duty. Ensure implementation of the Safety Policy and Safety Management System within IndiGo Engineering. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Manager Line Maintenance. Be aware of and comply with his/her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
