Role Overview Perform inspections of aircraft and aircraft components and review paperwork to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable standards of quality and that aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation properly completed and filed. The inspector works as an integral part of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance team, assuring that aircraft and components comply with FAA and CAA requirements. The role is based in Savannah, Georgia and supports large cabin aircraft (G500, G600, G650, G700 and G800) across the full spectrum of maintenance, from scheduled inspections to heavy structural work, ensuring compliance with FAA standards, 33 foreign certificates and customer Part 135 requirements. Multiple shifts are available. Key Responsibilities Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components Inspect aircraft, engines and component repairs and alterations for conformity to FAA-approved data Ensure all work meets FAA, CAA and customer Part 135 requirements Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection activities during maintenance and outfitting Maintain accurate, clear and complete maintenance and inspection records Audit maintenance documentation before return to service Verify the airworthiness of aircraft and components before flight release Collaborate with Return to Service to ensure timely and accurate aircraft records Mentor technicians on effective documentation practices Provide technical guidance supporting FAA and CAA compliance Communicate with leadership regarding work scope and delivery schedules Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Experience supporting large cabin Gulfstream aircraft required Familiarity with FAA regulations and multiple foreign certifications FlightSafety training on the applicable aircraft models is highly desirable Strong knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures across aircraft systems Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical data and Quality Control procedures Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems Strong computer skills Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg), work from heights including ladders, stands and lifts, and work in confined spaces as needed Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) licence required Experience Eight years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical and/or mechanical) Including two years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience Including two years of aircraft inspection experience What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Generous paid time off Opportunities for career advancement and skill development Work on industry-leading large cabin aircraft (G500, G600, G650, G700, G800) Exposure to full-spectrum maintenance, from scheduled inspections to heavy structural work Additional Information Department: Quality Assurance Employment type: Full-time Shift: Multiple shifts Travel: Up to 25% Posting end date: 31 August 2026 Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.

Requirements
