Role Overview As a Repair Station Inspector A&P - Avionics you will support avionics upgrade and modification programmes by ensuring that aircraft inspections, installations and documentation meet Gulfstream, FAA and applicable foreign regulatory requirements. Working closely with the avionics installation teams, you will help deliver safe, compliant and airworthy aircraft. The position performs inspections of aircraft and aircraft components and reviews paperwork to ensure workmanship meets acceptable standards of quality and that aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation properly completed and filed, as part of the Quality Control / Quality Assurance team. Shift: first shift, Monday to Thursday, 06:00 to 14:30. Key Responsibilities Perform Quality Control inspections of avionics installations, modifications, repairs and alterations on aircraft and aircraft components Inspect avionics upgrade projects, including STC and MRA modifications, ensuring work complies with approved engineering and regulatory data, on both FAA and foreign registered aircraft Review and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, 3D models and installation documentation to verify conformity and workmanship Validate configuration changes, drawing revisions and approval substantiation to ensure regulatory compliance throughout project execution Coordinate inspection, electrical and maintenance requirements with production teams during aircraft modification activities Conduct audits of maintenance and inspection records to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely return-to-service documentation Verify that aircraft and components meet FAA, CAA and company airworthiness requirements prior to flight activities Maintain accurate, legible inspection records and support the production of complete aircraft documentation packages Provide guidance and mentoring to technicians on documentation practices and quality standards Support Quality Assurance initiatives and provide technical assistance on regulatory and certification requirements Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Strong electrical systems knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings and 3D models Thorough ability to comprehend and manage drawing revisions and approval substantiations Experience reviewing engineering documentation, revisions and compliance records; an understanding of the certification path and of projects is very helpful Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and methodologies Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply shop mathematics Strong computer skills and attention to detail Ability to work from elevated platforms, lifts, ladders and stands, and in confined spaces as required Ability to lift up to 50 lb Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Licences & Qualifications A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) licence required High school diploma or GED required Experience 6 years of aviation maintenance experience in avionics, electrical and/or mechanical systems Experience supporting aircraft certification, STC or modification programmes is preferred What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package designed to support health, well-being and future Generous paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative team environment focused on quality and innovation Additional Information Job category: Quality Assurance Travel: Up to 25% Shift: First Employment type: Full-time Posting end date: 31 August 2026 Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.

Requirements

• Perform Quality Control inspections of avionics installations, modifications, repairs and alterations on aircraft and aircraft components
