Job Description

About the Company This role is with an RTX business at its repair facility in the First Philippine Industrial Park, Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines. Role Overview As a Quality Inspector you will define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions during the inspection process, meeting the established procedures set out in repair department documentation and in customer and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Carry out inspection work and complete FAA Form 8130-3 documentation, including related training. Assist management with methods or actions to rectify malfunctions. Provide details to assist engineering in product improvement, based on findings discovered through the repair and inspection process. Analyse and interpret fault isolation and operational test data of components to ensure conformance with final product specification. Perform visual inspection of incoming customer products. Act independently to determine compliance with applicable regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements. Produce inspection records, reports and documentation as required by regulations and customer requirements. Participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others. Requirements Knowledge of applicable FAA regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements for the equipment being repaired. Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures. Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, repair and overhaul activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills. Licences & Qualifications Minimum educational level of school level or apprenticeship, evidenced by the appropriate certificates. Preferred: holder of a CAAP licence. Experience Minimum 18 months' experience disassembling, inspecting, assembling and testing aviation components or equipment.
