Role Overview Aircraft maintenance mechanic (PL / intermediate level) at Helibras, working on-site in São Paulo (Campo de Marte), performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification and reconstruction on aircraft and their assemblies, and approving return to service where licensed to do so. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification or reconstruction on an item, including inspection, on aircraft and their assemblies. Perform services in accordance with current aviation legislation, Helibras' Maintenance Organization Manual (MOM) and Quality Control Manual (MCQ), and the data in the aircraft, engine and component manufacturers' manuals. Use the methods, techniques and practices set out in the latest revision of the manufacturer's maintenance manual, the instructions for continued airworthiness, or other methods approved by Helibras; use the tools, equipment and test devices needed, and ensure materials used comply with legislation and manufacturer standards. Perform inspections or other maintenance specified in an airworthiness limitations section of a manufacturer's maintenance manual or other instructions for continued airworthiness, in accordance with that section. Comply with manufacturer service bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) issued by the aviation authorities. Provide technical support services for innovation activities through implementation and maintenance of facilities or equipment used for research, development or technological innovation projects. Approve the return to service of aircraft when holding an airframe and powerplant licence, acting as Inspection Delegate when designated, with a thorough understanding of applicable civil aviation regulations and proficiency in the inspection methods, techniques, aids, equipment and tools appropriate to the work. Approve the return to service of aircraft that have undergone major repairs or alterations, acting as Inspection Delegate when designated. Record services performed and/or supervised in line with current legislation, including execution and approval of return to service after major repairs or alterations, and of components after maintenance, preventive maintenance, reconditioning, modification or repair, via the Authorized Release Certificate; make records immediately after each activity and ensure all relevant records are complete before considering a service finished. Keep the workstation clean and organised, dispose of debris appropriately at the end of the day, and clean, organise and store all tooling so that no tool is left behind in the aircraft or aeronautical product. Licences & Qualifications Required: completed technical training in Aircraft Maintenance (MMA). Required: active CHT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician Licence) for Airframe (CEL) and Powerplant (GMP). A plus: CHT for Avionics (AVI). Internal candidates should adhere to the "Golden Rule". Experience Prior practical experience in rotary-wing aircraft maintenance is mandatory.
