Role Overview Transavia is looking for motivated candidates for its Airline Pilot Program starting in 2027. Over roughly 24 months the training takes you through several phases to become a fully qualified pilot on the Airbus A320neo, building the knowledge and skills needed to start as a First Officer. After training, as a First Officer you are responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of a challenging flight operation. Together with the whole crew you contribute to a good journey for passengers and colleagues alike, and under the direction of the Captain you ensure every flight is safe and pleasant for everyone on board. You will make many take-offs and landings at varied and often challenging airports — from Greek islands and popular city-break destinations to Norwegian fjords and snow-covered runways in Lapland — where high terrain and weather keep you fully engaged in your profession. You then receive a WhatsApp invitation to an online screening tool consisting of a chat conversation and, if you pass, an online competency test, taking about 20 minutes in total, after which a recruiter assesses your application. Online selection: Compass and CPP tests map your flight-related competencies. Transavia interview: a competency-based interview with the Transavia selection committee, held in September, October and November 2026. Grading and group assignment: a selection day assessing your flying aptitude and trainability in the simulator, followed by a group assignment and an evaluation interview. These days take place in November and December 2026 and January 2027. Next steps: security screenings and a medical examination. Start of training: once a training place is available and all steps are successfully completed, you have a chance of a place in the 2027 training class. Good to know: you may take part in the MPL selection a maximum of two times. If you are not successful, you can reapply after at least 12 months.
