Role Overview Provide on-site flight support for owners under the Textron ProOwnership management agreement. Crews reside within a two-hour drive of the managed aircraft base (Sarasota, FL) and perform day-to-day flight activities, including scheduling, trip planning and aircraft care. Crews work directly with the ProOwnership Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance compliance and airworthiness, and closely with the Chief Pilot and ProOwnership Director of Operations so that customer requests are fulfilled to the highest levels of safety, legal adherence, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Enhance the ownership experience by providing product expertise on Citation systems, avionics and flying characteristics, and consistently communicate product and ownership benefits during flight activities Act as a company liaison between the owner and Textron Aviation so that the concerns of all parties are fairly represented; although the crew is employed by Textron Aviation, the pilot operates under an agency agreement that clearly defines the owner's operational control Serve, if designated lead pilot, as the primary point of contact for all issues relating to the remotely based flight operation Communicate clearly with the owner regarding Pilot-in-Command responsibilities, standards of safe operation and efficient methods of aircraft utilisation Maintain a solution-driven mindset and a willingness to explore all avenues on the path to resolution Perform preflight and post-flight inspections to identify mechanical and cosmetic discrepancies, and communicate accurately with the Maintenance Manager and the applicable Service Center Work with the maintenance manager to ensure aircraft are scheduled for required inspections and certified to MNPS, RVSM and RNP standards for all domestic and international travel requirements Work with the account manager on the aircraft flight schedule and monitor flight activities to ensure flights stay within operations manual guidelines, including crew duty limits and rest requirements, runway lengths and weather minimums Maintain familiarity with, and comply with, all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations and local operating procedures Ensure training and flight currency for all phases of operation, and inform the Chief Pilot or Manager, Aircraft Management when any currency is approaching expiry Attend required training, including initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, international procedures and other training deemed necessary by management Perform day-to-day department duties such as maintaining aircraft flight logs, updating aircraft navigation equipment, obtaining current electronic and hard-copy documents required for flight, storeroom duties and light aircraft cleaning Coordinate vacation requests with the account manager Requirements Willingness to reside within a two-hour drive of the managed aircraft base in Sarasota, Florida Ability to place safety of operations above all other considerations on every flight Additional Information The pilot operates under an agency agreement defining the owner's operational control, while remaining employed by Textron Aviation.
