ExecuJet Middle East is currently seeking a PIC / Lead Commander – Gulfstream 500 to fill a vacancy within our Flight Operations division for a position based out of Dubai, UAE. This position is rostered with leave allocation. Qualifications and Experience ATPL with a current G500 type rating. 4,000 hours total time (minimum). 1,000 hours PIC time (minimum). 2,000 hours jet time. 2,000 hours multi-engine time. Corporate aviation G500 line training and checking experience is essential. Corporate/business aviation background required. Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages would be advantageous. Basic IT skills – Microsoft Office. Key Responsibilities Commander/Lead Commander duties as per the OMA. Liaise with passengers or the aircraft owner when an aircraft defect or other operational issue may affect the aircraft’s schedule. Be responsible for the aircraft in accordance with the EJME OM, depending on aircraft registry, including but not limited to operations, FDP and safety. Ensure that the aircraft is operated in accordance with the EJME POM, depending on aircraft registry, including SOPs. Be familiar with the EJME OM, company OIs/CMs and the civil aviation regulations under which the aircraft is registered, and operate accordingly. Be responsible for all decisions made on board the aircraft; ensure the aircraft paperwork is in order before departure and that the aircraft is airworthy before departure. Create a safe and professional environment on board, with emphasis on good CRM. Ensure that the passengers’ travel documents are correct before departure. Hold ultimate responsibility for the passengers and ensure that passengers adhere to FA instructions; if operating with an ISP, ensure that all briefings and cabin security checks are conducted personally or assigned to the co-pilot. Brief passengers on journey time, en-route weather, possible delays and anything else pertinent to the flight. Ensure that the crew are presentable and that the crew, at no time, damage the reputation or image of ExecuJet Middle East. Report any abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents via the correct channels. Actively promote and support a just management culture. Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Character Profile Professional. Flexible.
