Role Overview As NDT Technician I you will use inspection techniques to ensure aircraft components meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance, performing critical inspections, maintaining equipment and working closely with maintenance and engineering teams. NDT Technicians are responsible to the NDT Lead for the setup, specific instrument calibration, specific tests and evaluation according to written instructions, and for recording the results. Key Responsibilities Maintain proficiency, qualification and certification in the NDT inspection methods for which you are certified, in accordance with RSQCM 4.2 Maintain familiarity with the applicable codes, regulations, standards and specifications related to NDT inspection performed by the repair station Set up and standardise NDT equipment and instrumentation, perform tests, and evaluate and interpret test results Perform non-destructive tests in accordance with approved manufacturer or customer-supplied data and record results in accordance with the manual requirements Perform other duties as required by the Lead NDT Requirements Good working knowledge of all aircraft job tasks and a thorough understanding of applicable FARs and company policies and procedures Thorough knowledge of aircraft manuals, non-destructive testing manuals and related materials Thorough knowledge of all VT Mobile Aerospace and customer paperwork, and of blueprint and drawing instructions Supervision: performs duties according to own judgement, requesting assistance only when necessary Interpersonal relations: a strong level of interpersonal skill is required to maintain effective relationships with various departments, inspectors, co-workers, supervision and the customer Physical environment: easy mobility around various sections of aircraft; ability to cope with stress and long working hours; standing 90% of the workday on hard surfaces; must be able to lift 50 lbs and report to work regularly Licences & Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent Meets the requirements listed in RSQCM section 4.2 for NDT Technicians Training in the applicable NDT method certifications held, meeting or exceeding the requirements of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Recommended Practice NAS410 ET or UT Level II in accordance with NAS410 or SNT-TC-1A standards and RSQCM 4.2 Airframe and Powerplant licence preferred; repairman certification acceptable Experience 24 months of inspection experience, or previous documentable NDT training or experience 18 months of experience in aircraft maintenance or NDT inspection on aircraft is required in lieu of an Airframe and Powerplant licence What We Offer Medical, vision and dental insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off (PTO) Company-provided uniforms 6 nationally recognised holidays Short-term and long-term disability insurance Life insurance Company-sponsored events throughout the year Additional Information Background and drug screening: successful completion of a background check and drug screening is a mandatory condition of employment. Requirements

• Maintain proficiency, qualification and certification in the NDT inspection methods for which you are certified, in accordance with RSQCM 4.2
• Maintain familiarity with the applicable codes, regulations, standards and specifications related to NDT inspection performed by the repair station
• Set up and standardise NDT equipment and instrumentation, perform tests, and evaluate and interpret test results
• Perform non-destructive tests in accordance with approved manufacturer or customer-supplied data and record results in accordance with the manual requirements
• Perform other duties as required by the Lead NDT

• Thorough knowledge of all VT Mobile Aerospace and customer paperwork, and of blueprint and drawing instructions

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Meets the requirements listed in RSQCM section 4.2 for NDT Technicians
• Training in the applicable NDT method certifications held, meeting or exceeding the requirements of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Recommended Practice NAS410
• ET or UT Level II in accordance with NAS410 or SNT-TC-1A standards and RSQCM 4.2
• Airframe and Powerplant licence preferred; repairman certification acceptable
• 24 months of inspection experience, or previous documentable NDT training or experience
• 18 months of experience in aircraft maintenance or NDT inspection on aircraft is required in lieu of an Airframe and Powerplant licence
