Role Overview GOL is looking for professionals with experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) for its Brasilia (BSB) base. Key Responsibilities Carry out non-destructive testing (NDT), with an emphasis on eddy current, ultrasonic and penetrant testing. Issue reports on the results obtained from these tests. Carry out aircraft maintenance work in accordance with the procedures defined in the aircraft manual. Keep tools, equipment, support vehicles and work areas clean and organised, following safety rules. Ensure the structural integrity of aircraft and their components through NDT inspections, in line with the standards of the competent authorities. Ensure inspections are traceable through service release records, in line with company policy and current aviation requirements. Ensure tests are carried out to the applicable standards, completing reports as required by aviation legislation. Ensure the quality of inspections through knowledge and application of the relevant regulations and instructions. Carry out tasks, tests and fault-finding on aircraft. Keep tools in order, controlling calibration dates and storing them in the appropriate place. Ensure tasks are carried out correctly by interpreting the technical documents relating to the work performed. Ensure the quality of records, reporting aviation product references on the appropriate documents and forms. Safeguard your own physical wellbeing by checking the condition and validity of personal protective equipment and using it when required. Keep the workplace clean and organised, in line with occupational health and safety rules. Ensure service quality by keeping aviation qualifications and ratings issued by CTA and ANAC up to date and carrying them while working. Identify operational hazards and report them via the AQD system or another designated system. Keep up to date so that qualifications can be renewed, sitting periodic theoretical and practical examinations. Understand the methods and techniques of the tests and correctly operate the equipment used to determine the airworthiness of the article. Be proficient in the use of the various types of equipment applicable to the article being inspected. Requirements Completed secondary education. Licences & Qualifications IFI-CTA Level II Inspector qualification in penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, eddy current and ultrasonics. Magnetic particle testing is an advantage. At least two ANAC CHT technical qualification certificates.
