Job Description
Role Overview The MOC (Maintenance Operations Control) Executive is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the JetSMART fleet, with safety as the first priority. The role also ensures that all maintenance required by the aircraft is carried out within deadlines and to the standards set by JetSMART. The post-holder must be able to manage and handle any contingency or situation requiring maintenance-related decisions by the MOC Executive. Key Responsibilities Control all line maintenance activities across the JetSMART fleet. Lead AOG recovery. Validate deferred defects. Ensure that rectification of failures and deferred items is completed in the shortest possible time, following manufacturer manuals and/or approved technical documentation. Provide technical support to the SOC (Operations) and to flight crews on all maintenance matters. Ensure the aircraft remains airworthy at all times during operation. Carry out preventive maintenance through fleet monitoring. Licences & Qualifications Maintenance technician, or mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineer, or a related degree. A320 familiarisation course. Valid maintenance licence with A320 rating. Intermediate level of technical English. Experience Five years of experience as a maintenance technician.
