Job Description
Role Overview The MOC (Maintenance Operations Control) Executive is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the JetSMART fleet, with safety as the first priority. The role also ensures that all maintenance required by the aircraft is carried out within the required timeframes and to the standards set by JetSMART. The post-holder must be able to manage and resolve any contingency or situation that calls for maintenance-related decision making by the MOC Executive. Key Responsibilities Control all line maintenance activities across the JetSMART fleet. Lead AOG recovery. Validate deferred defects. Ensure defects and deferred items are rectified in the shortest possible time, following manufacturer manuals and/or approved technical documentation. Provide technical support to the SOC (Operations) and to flight crews on all maintenance matters. Ensure the aircraft remains airworthy at all times during operation. Carry out preventive maintenance through fleet monitoring. Requirements Maintenance Technician qualification or a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering, or a related field. Intermediate level of technical English. Licences & Qualifications Valid Maintenance Licence with A320 type rating. A320 Familiarisation (A320 Fam) course. Experience 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
