Role Overview Perform electrical maintenance and component replacement on commercial aircraft, following technical manuals and supervisor instructions. Ensure safe work practices, maintain tools and a clean work area, and keep accurate records of completed tasks. Provide training to junior mechanics, complete required courses and carry out additional duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Remove and replace aircraft components and electrical systems using special tooling and ground support equipment Follow oral and written instructions, such as supervisor directives and manuals, to complete routine and non-routine assignments on time Use safety equipment and hand tools correctly, and handle parts tags in line with the VT San Antonio Aerospace Inspection Procedure Manual Carry out crimping, wire extraction and insertion, heat-shrink tubing and wire marking Identify wires, wire bundles and harnesses, and lace and tie wire bundles Apply the IPC and Wiring Practices Manual (Chapter 20), including bonding and grounding procedures Perform the duties of, and provide training for, lower skill levels Maintain and store tools in serviceable condition, adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area Maintain personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department and complete any courses it deems necessary Perform any other work assigned by the supervisor Operational and functional testing Flight deck control and indication Primary flight, navigation and engine display systems Radio management system VHF/HF communication systems Satellite communications (SATCOM) system Pitot static system Service interphone, ground crew call and flight interphone systems IFE and Wi-Fi systems Cabin and exterior lights Software uploads and downloads Navigation systems Requirements General knowledge of aircraft manuals, ATA codes, wiring schematics and maintenance procedures Skilled in using multimeters for continuity tests and in correct crimping procedures for all contact types Operation of reader printers and familiarity with applicable FARs and company policies Knowledge of paperwork processes including job cards, time cards, routine and non-routine cards, SRMs, service bulletins and work sign-off procedures Working knowledge of, or ability to acquire skills in, all of the above Licences & Qualifications Education: high school diploma or GED required Preferred: A&P licence or specialised training Experience Preferred: 24 months of commercial or military aircraft maintenance experience Working environment Supervision: under the general direction of a supervisor, normally performing duties after receiving general instructions on methods, procedures and desired end results, with some discretion among a few easily identifiable choices; assignments are usually reviewed upon completion Interpersonal relations: a moderate level of interpersonal skill is required to maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervision Physical environment: easy mobility around various sections of aircraft and the dexterity to remove and replace parts promptly; ability to cope with stress and long working hours; capacity to gain information by hearing for personal safety; standing 90% of the workday on hard surfaces; must be able to lift 50 lbs and report to work regularly Additional Information ST Engineering considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, education, training and certification, job level and work location. Requirements

• Remove and replace aircraft components and electrical systems using special tooling and ground support equipment
