The role is responsible for delivering on the key pillars of a successful airframe heavy maintenance model: ensuring the highest levels of quality, driving performance and managing within budget. This is achieved through supplier oversight duties executed by program managers at the facilities, while also ensuring key internal and external stakeholders deliver on their commitments to a successful heavy maintenance check. Key Responsibilities Directly supervise a management team, develop personnel staffing schedules, keep the status of visits current and address any variances Manage the performance of base checks, handle daily interactions on the execution of base visits and coordinate with internal stakeholder groups on near-term plans and package content Act as the interface with local supplier leadership, overseeing all facets of quality, performance and financial performance Reconcile financial invoices and pursue cost-saving opportunities for materials and labour efficiencies Licences & Qualifications FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation experience Preferred: BSc in engineering or an aviation-related field; fleet-specific airworthiness release certification Experience Minimum of 7 years' overall aviation industry experience Minimum of 3 years' supervisory or project management experience in aviation-related fields Aircraft heavy maintenance and airline operations experience Aircraft maintenance management experience Preferred: experience supervising management team members; finance, project management and SCEPTRE experience; experience in engineering, inspection or planning roles Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners Proven organisation and leadership skills, with the ability to build, lead and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships Must be legally authorised to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What We Offer Base pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00, dependent on job-related factors such as experience, education and skills Eligibility for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards Competitive benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability cover, parental leave, employee assistance programme, commuter benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) and flight privileges

Requirements
