Maintenance Supervisor - Powerplant Line Crew (Second Shift)

Role Overview Maintenance Supervisor for the Powerplant Line Crew (second shift), reporting to the Maintenance Manager for the Powerplant Line Crew. The role leads and directs the personnel under its supervision to ensure quality in both powerplant and aircraft maintenance, minimising delays, working safely and increasing production. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct personnel under supervision to ensure quality in both powerplant and aircraft maintenance, minimise delays, work safely and increase production Work with the Leads so that projects achieve quality work on time and within budget, with proper and efficient workflow and issuing of task cards Coordinate and communicate with the Line Maintenance and hangar Managers to ensure all aircraft are delivered on or before schedule Ensure company GMM, RSM, SRM, CMM, MM, WDM and FAR procedures are followed, and that all aircraft work is performed with revised and approved data Keep a clean, safe workplace at all times and recommend improvements to upper management to increase performance and quality Report any problems affecting projects to the proper Manager and liaise with customers Ensure personnel follow instructions and perform tasks in a safe, efficient manner Perform other duties as required or requested by the OSC Powerplant Line Maintenance Manager Licences & Qualifications Licence: FAA Powerplant licence required; FAA Airframe licence preferred High school graduate Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair on commercial category aircraft Requirements Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Must be able to work overtime, weekends and days off Able to read, write, speak and understand English; able to write routine reports and correspondence, and to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff Additional Information Work environment: Work is performed primarily in a construction and maintenance setting.
