About the Company Mesa Airlines is a United States regional air carrier operating under FAR Part 121 with a fleet that includes Bombardier CRJ700/900 and Embraer 170-190 series aircraft. Role Overview The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Field Management Unit (FMU) Manager of Maintenance and is responsible for controlling the quality and quantity of work assignments, ensuring they are performed safely and efficiently and in accordance with Company policy, manufacturers' manuals and FAA requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure mechanical dispatch reliability by accomplishing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a timely manner and to the quality standard set out in the GPM and the Mesa Airlines FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program. Ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance performed at supervisor level. Ensure required parts, tools and technical data are available for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance performed at supervisor level. Ensure personnel have adequate time scheduled for continuous training to upgrade skill levels, and take action to upgrade technical skills and qualifications where necessary. Ensure Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) programme requirements are complied with in accordance with the applicable aircraft's Maintenance Program Manual. Confirm that all work performed on Mesa Airlines aircraft is accomplished by qualified, authorised and approved personnel, and that personnel are only assigned duties for which they are specifically qualified. Assist the CASS Department in obtaining specific information on corrective actions identified, repeat discrepancies and other problem areas. Direct and assign mechanics as necessary to accomplish all maintenance functions in accordance with the GPM. Provide leadership and technical guidance to the mechanic group to ensure timely accomplishment of Company objectives in safety, service, operational performance and financial management. Monitor the performance of assigned personnel against a range of performance measures. Encourage a collaborative atmosphere of participation in solving problems and maintain service excellence. Facilitate crew meetings and interact with all levels of the maintenance organisation. Assume special assignments and administrative duties as directed, and perform other duties as assigned by the FMU Manager of Maintenance. Safety-related responsibilities Assist with the implementation, maintenance and integration of the SMS throughout maintenance. Identify hazards and conduct safety risk analysis. Monitor the effectiveness of safety risk controls. Ensure safety promotions are communicated throughout maintenance. Hold authority and responsibility for facilitating hazard identification, safety risk analysis and monitoring of safety risk control effectiveness within the assigned departments. Licences & Qualifications Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, meeting the requirements of 14 CFR 65.83. Bachelor's degree or four years of college in a technical field. Familiar with the parameters and standards established in 14 CFR Parts 43, 65 and 91. Experience Prior experience managing or supervising a maintenance workforce for a Part 121 air carrier operation. Two or more years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity in a Part 121 air carrier operation. Experience leading or developing work teams. Requirements Ability to work independently, organise duties and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills, and good interpersonal and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to apply company policies in a fair and consistent manner. Dependability and a good work attendance record are essential. Familiar with computer data entry and other Microsoft Office programs. Flexible to work various shifts, both day and night. Must remain in the position for one year.

Requirements
