Role Overview The Maintenance Fleet Manager - Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ) analyses deficiencies, develops cost-effective and applicable corrective action plans to correct them, and performs follow-up evaluations to verify that those corrections have taken place and have been effective. Key Responsibilities Perform root cause analysis to determine failure modes. Perform risk assessments to identify whether a failure mode presents a hazard. Review, prioritise, implement and track prevention strategies and process improvements. Develop cost-effective corrective action plans that address operational consequences and reduce the failure rates of systems causing delays and cancellations, giving high priority to safety and to economic consequences that affect reliability. Work consistently to reduce mechanical failures, delays and aircraft downtime, human errors, accidents and incidents, repeat discrepancies and liability. Work consistently to increase job performance, enhance troubleshooting techniques and improve reliability and continued safety. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Must be at least 23 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required. High school diploma or GED certification preferred. Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Office 365, Excel, Outlook, Word) or similar applications. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills, with polished, professional interpersonal skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude. Strong leadership and time management skills; able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and strong attention to detail. Self-motivated, able to motivate others, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact. Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and submit to and pass FAA and company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing. Must pass a 10-year work history background check as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks required by the TSA. Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate. Must work in a safe, professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state and federal regulatory requirements. Licences & Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations, technical manuals and maintenance documentation in English. Experience Minimum of 2 years' aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional or equivalent military experience accepted).
