Role Overview Maintenance Controller in the Maintenance Control department, reporting to the Manager of Maintenance Control. The role coordinates efficient and economical maintenance operations by providing technical assistance to personnel during maintenance and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Coordinate efficient and economical maintenance operations by providing technical assistance to guide personnel during maintenance and troubleshooting Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with the Kalitta Air, LLC General Maintenance Manual (GMM), other company manuals and the FARs Maintain and issue control numbers and complete the required paperwork for Deferred Maintenance Items / Minimum Equipment List (DMI/MEL), Configuration Deviation List (CDL) and carryover items Maintain current DMI/MEL, CDL and carryover item status in the MISA database for tracking and communication Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Manager Licences & Qualifications Licence: Valid A&P certification High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable Experience Experience working on heavy transport aircraft, preferably 747-400 and 777 aircraft Maintenance Control experience preferable but not required Good working knowledge of world geography and flight operations Requirements Able to use and understand aircraft maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, wiring diagram manuals and troubleshooting manuals Good computer skills and verbal communication skills Able to read, write, speak and understand English, write correspondence and reports, and give verbal and written directions Additional Information Physical demands: The employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear, and is frequently required to use a computer terminal, telephone and 10-key calculator. Requirements

- Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with the Kalitta Air, LLC General Maintenance Manual (GMM), other company manuals and the FARs
- Maintain and issue control numbers and complete the required paperwork for Deferred Maintenance Items / Minimum Equipment List (DMI/MEL), Configuration Deviation List (CDL) and carryover items
