Role Overview This position coordinates maintenance activities, sets operational priorities and supports Maintenance Controllers in minimising delays and maximising fleet reliability. Maintenance Controllers are responsible for monitoring all maintenance activity outside of heavy maintenance. Key Responsibilities Monitor real-time aircraft status and coordinate corrective actions for all aircraft maintenance events Evaluate discrepancies and determine the appropriate deferral or corrective action per the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) Coordinate with System Operations Control, station maintenance, maintenance planning and materials to support AOG recovery, unscheduled maintenance and scheduled maintenance Authorise and track return-to-service activities and RII sign-offs per FAA regulations Maintain detailed aircraft status notes, event documentation, IROP consequences and system updates Accountable for the Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities described in the company's SMS Manual and Title 14 CFR Part 5.23; ensure adherence to the SMS and report safety or quality concerns promptly Liaise with vendors and on-call maintenance providers, validating parts, tooling and labour compliance Support operational readiness by proactively forecasting maintenance workload and resource needs Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir; other duties as assigned Authorities Perform any maintenance action for which the holder has been trained, qualified or authorised Authority over line maintenance personnel Authority to contact and authorise on-call maintenance vendors to provide maintenance services to CommuteAir aircraft Authority to apply and clear deferral items in AMOS May remove any aircraft from service when an unairworthy condition exists Licences & Qualifications Licence: must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and the required company authorisations Valid state-issued driver's licence and a government-issued passport Legally authorised to work in the USA Experience At least one year of experience as a Certificated Mechanic Good working knowledge of aircraft systems and flight operations Knowledge of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Requirements Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365 Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to read, speak and understand English Organised, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly Physical and environmental conditions Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and a negligible amount frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects; mostly sitting, with occasional walking and standing, with or without accommodation Visual acuity: inspection, close assembly and clerical or administrative work; a minimum standard for work involving preparing and analysing data and figures, accounting, computer use and extensive reading Environment: indoor conditions, protected from the weather but not necessarily from temperature changes What We Offer Comprehensive benefits and competitive pay Internal advancement programmes Personal flight benefits on the Star Alliance network for the employee and family Employee training and development Additional Information CommuteAir uses artificial intelligence and automated tools to support parts of application review and recruiting, including identifying relevant qualifications and managing candidate communications. Requirements

• Monitor real-time aircraft status and coordinate corrective actions for all aircraft maintenance events

• Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir; other duties as assigned
• Perform any maintenance action for which the holder has been trained, qualified or authorised
• Authority over line maintenance personnel
• Authority to contact and authorise on-call maintenance vendors to provide maintenance services to CommuteAir aircraft
• Authority to apply and clear deferral items in AMOS
• May remove any aircraft from service when an unairworthy condition exists
• Licence: must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and the required company authorisations
• Valid state-issued driver's licence and a government-issued passport
• Legally authorised to work in the USA
• At least one year of experience as a Certificated Mechanic
• Good working knowledge of aircraft systems and flight operations
• Knowledge of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read, speak and understand English
• Organised, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly
