Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing As a Maintenance Controller, youâ¯are responsible forâ¯ensuring thatâ¯aircraftâ¯within the Wheels Up Private Jetsâ¯operatedâ¯fleet areâ¯maintainedâ¯in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Youâ¯are responsible forâ¯monitoringâ¯aircraft,â¯initiating, and overseeing maintenance events to ensureâ¯aircraftâ¯are returned to service inâ¯a timelyâ¯and effective manner. In an executiveâ¯capacity, the Maintenance Controller supervises the maintenance and/or alteration of Wheels Up Private Jetsâ¯operatedâ¯aircraft. Location: Chamblee, GA Responsibilities Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) As the delegate of theâ¯aircraftâ¯certificate holder’s Director of Maintenance (DOM), you will execute certain designated functions of the DOM’s office. Youâ¯are responsible forâ¯ensuring compliance with all company policies as outlined in the WUPJ operating manual.â¯â¯ Ensure all out-of-service for maintenanceâ¯aircraftâ¯are repairedâ¯in a timely manner.â¯â¯ Assign maintenance personnel, including vendors,â¯inâ¯the correct performance of aircraft repairs and overseeing repair efforts as well as maintaining communication on repair status.â¯â¯ Create work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and Line Maintenance.â¯â¯â¯ Coordinate with maintenance vendors to plan, execute, oversee, and document maintenance events.â¯â¯â¯ Ensure all departments affected by a groundedâ¯aircraftâ¯are aware of the status of theâ¯aircraft.â¯â¯â¯ Reviewâ¯aircraftâ¯records and tracking to ensure compliance with maintenance programs.â¯â¯â¯ Work harmoniously with Maintenance Leadership, Flight Operations, maintenance vendors, and all operational entities and personnel.â¯â¯â¯ Ensure proper documentation of the work performed onâ¯aircraftâ¯prior to approval of theâ¯aircraftâ¯for return-to-service.â¯â¯â¯ Ensure requiredâ¯aircraftâ¯parts are obtained and shippedâ¯in a timely manner.⯠Qualifications What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do: Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant Certificateâ¯â¯ Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Part 121, 135/91⯠Physical Requirements We want to make sure you’re fully equipped for success. Here’s a look at any physical requirements needed for this role: Ability to sit for long periods of time. The compensation for this role ranges from $84,000/Yr. to $105,000/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
