About the role

We are recruiting for Aircraft Technician - Machinist to be based in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications and Experience:

• To operate CNC milling, CNC lathe & vertical drilling machines in reputable aircraft maintenance environment/MRO/Aircraft Parts Manufacturing Facility.
• Use of Drilling, boring, honing machines tooling and fixtures. Additionally, knowledge of standard tooling is mandatory
• To carry out CNC machines manual programming
• Basic understanding of Siemens NX software.
• Understanding and adherence to safety and operating instruction based on manufacturing instructions
• Ability to follow airworthiness instruction to ensure compliance

• Reads and interprets aircraft maintenance manuals/Component Maintenance Manuals, Structure Repair Manual and drawings to determine requirement component repair/fabrication requirements.

  As an Aircraft Technician – Paint Shop in the Workshop you will be responsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures; meeting the highest shop practices and safety to provide operational results as set by the unit. Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set timeframes by performing effectively within an environment of time constrains and a high level of technical competency.

  Qualifications and Experience:

• Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
• To operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks.
• Able to interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation. Able to predominantly continue with assigned tasks without supervision, under normal conditions. To meet set productivity standards.
• Perform other department duties related to his position as directed by the head of the department.
• Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy.
• Ensure aircraft component rectifications are accomplished in a timely manner, to the defined QCAA/EASA
• PART-145 requirements and in accordance with the desired quality standards
• Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set time frames.
• Perform by example to motivate team.
• All team personnel to be made aware of any health and safety issues.

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Licensed Aircraft Technician - Workshops.

· You will be responsible to ensure that carrying out Airpack heat exchanger Repair & Overhaul.

· You shall be responsible for certifying heat changer repair and overhaul process and meeting Shop TAT standards and delivery times.

· Additionally, you shall be responsible for ensuring airworthiness and safety compliance i.e. manufacturer’s recommendation.

· You shall be responsible to ensure adherence to regulatory (EASA/QCAA Part 145) compliance while performing component maintenance.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Calibration Technician to join our growing Calibration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibration of a wide range of instruments across all calibration disciplines.
