About the Company Airbus International Services (AIS) is a subsidiary wholly owned by Airbus Helicopters and is based in Dublin, Ireland. Established in 2010, AIS supports Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence & Space, ATR and Satair with services delivered by experienced professionals deployed in more than 50 countries. AIS has three business lines: Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters; Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR; and Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR and Satair. Its services are provided exclusively to Airbus Group entities and affiliates. Role Overview AIS is looking for a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) B2 with a current H145 D2-D3 type rating to join the Helicopters Operations Department, working in diverse locations around the world. The LAME B2 is an avionics specialist who provides Airbus Helicopters worldwide customers with technical assistance for their H145 D2-D3 fleets. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable approved documentation (AMM, RDAS, SB and other OEM documentation). Rectify all defects reported and ensure zero defects post inspection or retrofit. Provide field services support locally. Carry out on-the-job training of customer personnel when requested. Answer questions from on-site customers relating to the performance of maintenance tasks under the agreed maintenance plan. Give feedback into the set-up of monthly and weekly maintenance planning. Assist customer maintenance personnel in understanding and using technical publications, work reports and Part-M work orders. Ensure quality regulations are met during maintenance activities where applicable. Requirements Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative. Availability for customers, including outside working hours, with a customer-care mindset. Adaptable, professional and positive; customer satisfaction oriented. Leadership, autonomy, emotional intelligence, problem-solving and innovative thinking, and strong organisational awareness. English required; other local languages are a plus. Computer skills required. Driving licence, passport with more than 6 months validity, and no criminal record. Works in an AH/AIS team and liaises at all times with the AH/AIS Head of Mission on site; may work as a detached technician at customer premises reporting to a technical point of contact. May act as certifying staff in an appropriate organisation and may be required to sign off end user official documents in accordance with customer regulations for the specific tasks executed. Strong knowledge of Part-145 activity is expected. Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA Part-66 licence holding at minimum the H145 D2-D3 type rating. A UK CAA Part-66 licence is a plus. Current valid Part-66 licence with one or multiple entries / type ratings; an Airbus Helicopters type rating is a must. Technical school diploma. Logbook up to date. Valid Human Factors, Part-145 and FOD initial and recurrent training. Experience 10 years or more working experience on helicopters or Airbus products. What We Offer Salary: from EUR 40,000 per year gross. Contract: permanent with Airbus International Services Designated Activity Company, professional experience level.
