About the Company Airbus Commercial Aircraft is recruiting for the Airbus Customer Care Centre, Working Party Team, based in Toulouse, France. The Working Party Team provides after-sales engineering support to customers worldwide, specialising mainly in structural repair and delivering major repair services at locations throughout the world, with complete certified packages including customised repair solutions, planning and repair embodiment. Role Overview As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 you are responsible for overseeing aircraft repair projects from the planning phase through embodiment and release to service. You act in a certifying capacity, coordinate the Airbus team on site and work with the customer to deliver on time, on cost and on quality to an industry-leading standard. Key Responsibilities Manage team competences and allocate work to up to 30 to 60 people from the working party core team or from manufacturing units. Carry out inspections. Certify aircraft repair tasks by establishing the Working Party file and issuing the Certificate of Release to Service for the work package performed, in accordance with EASA and FAR Part-145 rules. Ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the working party. Maintain compliance with Airbus Part-145 procedures. Manage the customers on site. Support across programmes in advisory roles. Develop special working party tools. Develop and validate Service Bulletins. Engage with other Airbus departments on cross projects. Support airlines and MROs in advisory roles such as troubleshooting and repair embodiment. Support Airbus production in pre-SB work. Requirements Advanced English; French, German or Spanish are an added advantage. Safety minded for both people and product. Able to establish and maintain good customer relationships and negotiate on working party aspects. Working parties can reach a value of approximately EUR 4 million and involve up to 3,000 man hours. Working in diverse teams with customers worldwide, so the ability to manage across different nationalities and cultures is a large part of the role. The role requires extensive travel; applicants should be prepared to travel for long periods at short notice. Licences & Qualifications EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence Category B1 is mandatory; B2 and C are a plus. Minimum 2 current Airbus type ratings in category B1. Experience 5 years of certifying experience in a supervisory role. As the role is mainly for structural repair activities, applicants should have spent a considerable period engaged in heavy maintenance, manufacture or cargo conversion.
