About the Company Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL) is part of the Jetfly Group. Jetfly is a leader in fractional aircraft ownership in Europe for both business and private aviation. BASL is one of the group's aircraft maintenance centres, based at Bournemouth Airport, where experienced specialists trained by Pilatus look after the aircraft to the highest standards. Role Overview As part of its ongoing development, the company is looking for a dedicated aircraft maintenance professional to support operational excellence at the Bournemouth maintenance centre. The role involves performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in line with company standards and EASA/CAA regulations, while contributing to a safe, efficient and collaborative working environment. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft maintenance within company privileges and Part-66 / Part-145 limitations. Follow and apply Jetfly's safety and compliance policies, manuals and procedures. Issue certificates of release to service, EASA/CAA Form Ones and serviceable tags. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement rational rectification using approved maintenance data. Complete assigned tasks within given timeframes, providing regular updates on job progress, defects and issues encountered to relevant personnel. Report any defects causing operational deviations or restrictions to management, and inform management of delays or job cancellations with proper justification. Lead, instruct and motivate trainees to maximise efficiency, while promoting cost awareness within the team. Ensure work orders are accurate and complete, including parts, man-hours and relevant information on discovered defects. Maintain high-quality documentation, properly completed and signed in accordance with regulations and procedures. Receive, store and preserve parts according to manufacturer specifications and legal and internal regulations, including correct packing of components for shipping and IATA Dangerous Goods handling where applicable.
Requirements
