Role Overview The Lead Captain serves as Pilot in Command for assigned flights, holding ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional operation of each flight assignment to the highest standards of safety, security and quality. Key Responsibilities Lead with confidence: ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analysing weather and route conditions to make informed decisions. Crew leadership and development: mentor and guide crew members to foster professional growth, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training to maintain seamless operations. Deliver excellence: maintain complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience. Champion safety and compliance: promote a strong safety culture, adhere to best practices, conduct passenger briefings, and promptly address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams. Administrative excellence: manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation professionally in all internal and external interactions. Represent the brand: act as the face of Jet Aviation, showing professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service. Requirements Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required. Experience: five years of aviation experience with 2,500 hours total time, including 1,500 helicopter hours and 500 hours turbo-jet. Flexibility: ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles. Global readiness: willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. Education: high school diploma required. Licence: valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
