Role Overview As the APG Maintenance Lead you play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the APG Mechanics. Your leadership and technical expertise maintain the effectiveness and reliability of customers' aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for a crew of 20 or more and prioritise what needs to be done daily. Remove and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment, following verbal and written instructions such as supervisors' directives and manuals, to complete all routine and non-routine assignments promptly. Perform the duties of, and provide the necessary training for, lower skill levels. Act as Relief Lead, assuming all Lead responsibilities in the Lead's absence. Maintain and store various tools in serviceable condition. Licences & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required. Experience Minimum three years' experience in heavy commercial maintenance. Three years' supervisory experience. Ability to work overtime as needed.
