Role Overview STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in Reno, Nevada (RNO). We are looking for highly motivated lead aircraft maintenance professionals to help grow our line maintenance station there. The Lead A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of maintenance operations for our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service. All candidates must currently be authorised to work in the United States. Key Responsibilities Report to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads, working in close partnership with airline customers, flight crews and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers Ensure aircraft are maintained to the airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear, and repair or replace as required Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required Other duties as deemed necessary Work on the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, 757 and 767, CRJ and Embraer 170/190 Requirements Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus Previous experience on the 737, 757, 767, A320, ERJ 145/170/190 or CRJ 700/900 is strongly preferred but not required Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling will be provided) Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to work with minimal supervision With or without accommodations, must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and lift 50 lbs unassisted Must pass a background check and a drug and alcohol test, and be able to obtain Customs and Border Protection clearance Basic to mid-level computer and organisational skills Experience working under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired Inspection Authorization (IA) licence is a plus Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems on aircraft airframes and engines with little supervision Versatility and flexibility, as the schedule could include days, nights, weekends and holidays Superior customer focus, communication skills and work ethic with a commitment to excellence What We Offer Starting pay between $32 and $45 per hour, determined by previous experience and formal training Yearly raises available upon evaluation Full-time: PTO, health insurance and 401(k). Requirements

• Report to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads, working in close partnership with airline customers, flight crews and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to the airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
• Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation
• Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear, and repair or replace as required
• Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity
• Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required
• Other duties as deemed necessary
• Work on the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, 757 and 767, CRJ and Embraer 170/190
• Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions
• Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus
• Previous experience on the 737, 757, 767, A320, ERJ 145/170/190 or CRJ 700/900 is strongly preferred but not required
