About the Company STS Aviation Services operates four state-of-the-art aircraft hangars, two interior modification facilities and more than 40 line maintenance stations in the United States and abroad, blending a growing portfolio of MRO services to deliver aircraft maintenance, engineering and modification solutions to the global aviation industry. Role Overview STS Aviation Services is hiring Lead Aircraft Structures Technicians to join its overhaul and repair station in Melbourne, Florida. These are direct full-time positions working predominantly on Airbus A320 and CRJ aircraft. Licences & Qualifications Valid A&P licence is required Must have the ability to obtain an airport licence and all necessary badging Must hold a valid driver's licence Experience Minimum 4 years as an aircraft sheet metal technician maintaining and repairing commercial and/or large regional aircraft; comparable military experience is acceptable Minimum 2 years as a Lead Aircraft Structures Technician or Supervisor Requirements Willing and able to work whatever shift and schedule is required Must not be under a doctor's care with limited work restrictions Must pass a background check Able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs and work stands unassisted Able to bend, kneel, crawl and stoop frequently in confined spaces Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Willing to work in an environment subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels Excellent communication and people skills Good judgement in a team environment and in aircraft maintenance and safety Problem-solving and organisational skills Able to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals All candidates must currently be authorised to work in the United States What We Offer Health insurance Paid time off Holiday pay 401(k) programme

Requirements

  • Valid A&P licence is required
