Role Overview The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is primarily responsible for accomplishing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting aircraft launches and recoveries, and performing limited line service duties. The position also provides other repair and maintenance support as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. Location: Melbourne, Florida. Schedule: 5/8. Key Responsibilities Perform aircraft inspections, troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring conformity with applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements. Ensure accurate and thorough completion of company and regulatory forms, records and reports. Work collaboratively with the entire flight team to maximise availability of airworthy aircraft and equipment for corporate travel demand. Assist with maintenance of ground support equipment, the fuel farm and hangar upkeep. Assist in preparing and servicing company aircraft before each departure from the home base airport, including passenger support. Receive aircraft on arrival, assist passengers and conduct post-flight checks. On rare occasions, serve as an in-flight technician / attendant on international trips. Oversee maintenance and inspections performed at outside facilities. Attend bi-annual aircraft-specific maintenance training at an approved facility. Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused work environment. Licences & Qualifications Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licence. Experience Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Minimum of 7 years' experience in aircraft maintenance, repair and troubleshooting. Minimum of 1 year's experience with Bombardier Global aircraft. Minimum of 1 year's experience with Collins Fusion (Vision) avionics. Requirements Must live, or be willing to relocate, within one hour of Melbourne International Airport (MLB).
