Position Summary Perform responsibilities acting as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) in our worldwide flight department, safely and efficiently, with emphasis on passenger service and safety. Responsibilities Safely and proficiently operate private company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs. Plan flights, selecting the safest and most efficient routes, providing for contingencies, determining appropriate fuel loads, and developing alternative flight plan routes. Review all pertinent NOTAMs, and review and interpret weather reports to finalize the flight plan. Perform aircraft pre-flight inspections verifying airworthy condition, as well as post-flight inspections. Determine the accurate loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, including calculating and solving weight and balance problems. Utilize the Flight Risk Assessment Tool consistently to assess and mitigate risk. Complete records and appropriate entries in aircraft logbooks/operations forms. Collaborate to complete complex and non-routine responsibilities, working in an agile environment. Apply flight experience to resolve issues, discuss escalated issue recommendations with peers or the manager, exhibit accountability for work and behaviors, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Take the initiative to discuss assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines, and seek guidance and coaching from the manager. Notify the manager when workload is light and volunteer for additional work. Adjust quickly to new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures. Identify efficiencies and bad or unsafe processes to the team and manager. Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and develop job aids. Education and Licenses Associate's degree or equivalent educational hours or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred. Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate, Instrument Airplane (ATP or ATP-CTP Course Completion preferred). Current FAA First Class Medical Certification. Type Rating preferred. Minimum Requirements At least four (4) years of commercial or private flight experience with advanced technology EFIS and FMS cockpit systems. Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time completed/logged (TT). Minimum 1,000 hours multiengine airplane flight time completed/logged (TT), jet or turboprop. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Cognitive ability including reason, planning, problem solving, abstract thinking, comprehending complex ideas, learning quickly, learning from experience, and appropriately applying learning to new situations. Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives. Applies best practices in documenting business requirements in an iterative way, particularly using agile methodologies. Ability to create clear reports and data visualizations to assist in decision-making and problem analysis. Conversant in technical discipline acumen. Must have a positive attitude, a drive to continually advance your understanding of the industry and business, and be highly self-motivated. Ability to build professional and trusting business relationships. Ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of management within the department. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient MS Office Suite skills. Work hours are completely variable Monday through Sunday, with long work days. Ability to travel away from home with frequent overnight layovers. Valid passport and the ability to travel overseas for worldwide operations. Possess a service excellence attitude. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $230,000 to $250,000. Please note that this range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
