Role Overview Perform inspections of aircraft and aircraft components and review paperwork to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable standards of quality and that aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation properly completed and filed. The role works as an integral part of the Quality Control / Quality Assurance team, assuring that aircraft and components comply with FAA and CAA requirements. The position supports special missions aircraft work and operates on second shift, 16:00 to 02:30, Monday to Thursday. Key Responsibilities Carry out Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components Complete inspections of aircraft, engine and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved or acceptable data Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting Keep accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft and components Coordinate with Return to Service (RTS) throughout assigned jobs so that accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy prior to any flight activities Mentor technicians on effective documentation Communicate with management as required to identify work assignments and delivery schedules Provide technical support to inspection personnel in meeting FAA and/or CAA documented requirements Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Experience in major aircraft sheet metal and avionics alterations Able to work second shift, 16:00 to 02:30, Monday to Thursday Strong computer skills Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, shop mathematics and Quality Control procedures Working knowledge and application of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control systems and methodologies Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Licences & Qualifications A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) licence required Experience High school diploma or GED required 6 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical and/or mechanical) Additional Information Job category: Quality Assurance Travel: Up to 25% Shift: Second Employment type: Full-time Posting end date: 2 September 2026 Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.

Requirements
