Role Overview Reporting to the Manager or Shift Manager, represent the station Technical Operations department professionally while interacting and coordinating with other departments in the Station Operations Center, Aircraft Routing, Aircraft Dispatch and flight crews. Key Responsibilities Receive and coordinate the recovery of maintenance discrepancies raised by inbound and outbound flight crews, and coordinate and track the recovery of scheduled deferred items Notify and communicate the status of aircraft that are out of service or on a maintenance delay to Maintenance Control and Local Operations Coordinate and track planned maintenance for through flights Initiate and update TOC (Technical Operations Computer System) and AMIS logs for all aircraft that are out of service, in a planned hold or subject to significant ongoing maintenance activity Coordinate station supplier requirements needed to support maintenance activities Identify and communicate maintenance troubleshooting and repair procedures as required Ensure delay reports are entered, and compile delay data for tracking and analysis Licences & Qualifications FAA A&P Certificate required High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in aviation management, engineering or a related field Experience 5 years in the aircraft maintenance industry Contract and regulatory experience Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations Preferred: 2 years in a leadership role within a large maintenance organisation including a unionised labour workforce, with a proven successful track record Requirements Meets or exceeds operational performance goals, including on-time performance, maintenance check span, productivity and safety objectives, and business plan objectives Identifies the need for change or improvement and executes it, involving the appropriate people and level of resources Builds and maintains a professional, productive work environment for labour groups and management teams, and communicates effectively with employees at all levels Sets up ongoing procedures to collect and review the information needed to manage an organisation or its activities Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions; chooses a course of action or develops solutions consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences Preferred: strong cultural awareness to build and maintain professional relationships on a global basis Must be legally authorised to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What We Offer Base pay range for this role is $131,456.70 to $160,669.30, dependent on job-related factors such as experience, education and skills Eligibility for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards Competitive benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability cover, parental leave, employee assistance programme, commuter benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) and flight privileges

Requirements
