Role Overview As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe flight of helicopters by performing all required maintenance activities on the aircraft, in strict compliance with technical documentation and applicable regulations, while maintaining professional and personal conduct that enables the social and economic development of the company. Key Responsibilities Perform all maintenance work assigned by your hierarchy on helicopters, their components, sub-components, systems or specific tasks as required. These tasks arise from service requirements, bulletins, airworthiness directives, technical and supplementary instructions, and discrepancy corrections. Carry out all assigned work under the procedures and technical documentation established by the manufacturer and applicable aeronautical authorities, always meeting specified safety and quality standards. Identify parts, tools and estimated time for the execution of maintenance activities through the correct recording of discrepancies. Know and correctly apply all standard techniques issued by the manufacturer in every activity performed: torquing, safety wiring, repair procedures, heat treatments and similar. Understand and comply with the regulations, policies and objectives issued by the aeronautical authority, the manufacturer and the company, as well as the quality system policies applied within it. Possess verifiable capability in maintenance tasks for the assigned equipment. Keep work areas clean and organised, complying with the established 5S procedure. Maintain common and special tools, as well as measuring and ground support equipment, in optimal operating condition, and immediately report any defect found or caused to the supervisor or tool crib manager. Maintain and promote aeronautical awareness and commitment to the entrusted objectives, responding positively to training and being willing to train personnel under your charge, promoting teamwork at all times. Correctly record all work performed in the aircraft documentation. Comply with the company's operational safety policy and abide by operational safety provisions. Report safety events in a timely and proper manner, voluntarily or confidentially, and report hazards, events or situations affecting operational safety promptly. Follow defined protocols during emergency or crisis situations and follow the instructions of safety brigades during emergency response. Assist in taking measures for risk mitigation. Know and comply with export control regulations, completing the defined annual training on the Mypulse platform. Licences & Qualifications Licence, essential: valid licence issued by the aeronautical authority as Maintenance Technician Class I, with a rating certificate for rotary-wing aircraft. Desirable: Maintenance Technician Class II (avionics/electrical). Education, essential: upper secondary education or vocational training. Experience 1 year of experience in rotary-wing aircraft maintenance. Requirements Skills: stress tolerance, adaptability, teamwork and integrity. Requirements
