About the Company Airbus Helicopters Japan Co. Ltd operates a maintenance facility at Kobe Airport. The role sits in the Operational Division, Maintenance Department, Kobe Maintenance Section. Role Overview The helicopter mechanic is involved in maintenance work at the Kobe Airport facility and follows the various rules and working manuals covering maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, refurbishment and new assembly of aircraft and their equipment. The role maintains work safety and carries out its responsibilities to achieve the on-time, on-quality and on-cost objectives. Key Responsibilities Perform work on aircraft airframe and equipment maintenance (repair, overhaul, modification, refurbishment and new assembly) based on internal regulations such as working manuals, within the scope of internal qualifications held. Take responsibility for quality, delivery and cost. Licences & Qualifications Essential: high school degree or higher. Desirable: first grade or second grade aircraft maintenance mechanic licence (rotary-wing, ideally on the company's own products). Experience Desirable: experience in aircraft maintenance work (including line maintenance) or as an aircraft electrical wiring practitioner; maintenance experience in the automotive or maritime industries is also acceptable.
