About the Company Airbus Helicopters is recruiting for its H160 series flight line department based in Marignane, France. The department is responsible for the flight preparation and delivery of the new H160 helicopter. The Marignane site, France's third-largest industrial site, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high-technology, inclusive and environmentally respectful working environment. Role Overview The role consists of carrying out the operations required to prepare and operate an aircraft on the flight line. The team also takes part in ground runs to correct rotor balancing and works closely with flight crew. It performs daily inspections and maintenance operations, and finalises the aircraft so that it can be presented to the end customer for delivery. Key Responsibilities Install and test helicopter equipment before and after flight tests. Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections. Perform ground runs and flight preparation activities. Take part in debriefings with flight crew. Carry out maintenance operations. Perform final configuration modifications. Complete quality documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement of the product. Requirements Education: at least a vocational baccalaureate or a two-year higher technical diploma in aeronautics, or military experience in aeronautical maintenance. Open mindset towards change and a driving role in deploying new processes. Strong digital orientation (tablet-based manufacturing execution system, connected tools, RFID toolboxes for on-site or off-site use). Mastery of aircraft flight preparation, maintenance operations, airworthiness monitoring and aircraft documentation updates. Good interpersonal skills, in particular with flight test crews, together with responsiveness and team spirit. Languages: intermediate technical English; fluent French. Security clearance, or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities. Willingness to undertake business travel as required.
