The Technical Department is in charge of the airworthiness and maintenance management of the aircraft. This enhanced surveillance is established in accordance with the various airworthiness regulations, such as EASA, FAA and foreign civil aviation authorities including Aruba DCA and CAA Cayman Islands. The department includes highly qualified personnel experienced in aircraft management and holding mechanical licences, working to ensure efficient survey and technical management of the aircraft. Role Overview As an embarked ground engineer you will fly on board the aircraft as per the duty roster, supporting VIP operations with line maintenance, troubleshooting and coordination of maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities Perform failure analysis and support troubleshooting Evaluate solutions in collaboration with the Technical Director Ensure all works are performed in a cost- and time-efficient manner, with the owner's approval as required Fly on board the aircraft as per the duty roster Rectify discrepancies Perform line maintenance tasks Manage maintenance projects on site with the maintenance centre Identify potential additional works for maintenance Ensure maintenance is performed efficiently Verify and approve maintenance invoices Conduct briefings with the crew and the MRO team Licences & Qualifications Licensed aircraft engineer with a valid EASA Part-66 licence and the appropriate type rating Engineering level in aviation studies Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, Part-145 regulations and Part-M requirements Experience Related experience in the maintenance of VIP aircraft Maintenance experience on the relevant aircraft type Proven communication skills with VIP clients from different cultures Additional Information Motivated and skilled pilots are invited to submit an application through the Global Jet website.
