Role Overview We are looking for a driven Flying Station Engineer (FSE) to strengthen our Maintenance & Engineering team. The FSE is responsible for the technical handling of our aircraft in all its aspects at outside stations and on conveying flights, and for returning the aircraft to Brussels in accordance with all maintenance procedures and rules of the Brussels Airlines technical department. The FSE must resolve any operational or technical issue to protect the operation in the best possible time. You will be part of the Maintenance & Engineering team, a group that plays a key role in ensuring every flight is safe, enjoyable and on time, keeping aircraft in top condition from the tip of the nose to the top of the tail. Requirements

• Accompany the flight from the home base airport until its return to the home base
• Provide technical assistance to the aircraft for the duration of the conveying flight, including all stops
• Remain in the outstation on arrival of the Brussels Airlines flight for one or more consecutive days, taking responsibility for technical assistance to the aircraft at landing and departure
• Accompany flights departing from and arriving at airports other than the home base, providing technical assistance throughout the conveying flight and all stops in accordance with regulations and applicable procedures
• Execute regular routine inspections according to instructions during base maintenance
• Control the required inspections after maintenance and repair
• Interpret and analyse technical issues, conduct troubleshooting, advise aircraft technicians on restorations and engineering on preventive measures
• Follow up troubleshooting and resolve eTLB (aircraft technical logbook) problems
• Deliver a release to service in a conscientious, fast and high-quality manner
• Complete aircraft documents correctly and enter technical logs in AMOS
• Perform all tasks in accordance with regulations and applicable internal procedures
• Take care of the maintenance of ground equipment material (cars, tools) and workplaces
• Supervise the refuelling procedure
• Inspect outstation parts, tooling and ground support equipment
• Current EASA Part-66 B1 licence with type rating on the A330 RR Trent 700
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential; Dutch or French is a plus
• Good understanding and use of aircraft technical documentation (AMM, SRM, TSM and similar)
• Knowledge of AMOS is a plus
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil aviation
• Minimum 2 years' experience as B1 or B2, with the last 3 years including practical line maintenance experience
• Experience in structural assessments
• Borescope and full power run experience is a plus
• Highly motivated, flexible and proactive; stress resilient and communicative
