SpainJob Description
About the Company Fly EPT Spain is a thriving declared training organisation (DTO), soon to be an approved training organisation (ATO), operating a well-maintained fleet of TECNAM P2002-JF and TOMARK VIPER SD4 RTC aircraft from its main base at Son Bonet Airport (LESB), Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Role Overview Fly EPT Spain is accepting applications from freelance flight instructors, restricted and unrestricted, full or part-time, due to continued expansion, and is always interested to receive CVs from qualified flight instructors. The arrangement is flexible: you can fly as much or as little as you like. Instructors will teach PPL and night ratings to student pilots and perform proficiency check flights for PPL hour builders. The company is particularly interested in flight instructors currently flying for airlines based in Palma de Mallorca (PMI), as most of its PPL students are ATPL modular students; instructors with a summer PMI-based contract who are off all winter can be offered full-time work through the winter season. Instructors join a team of aviation professionals in Palma de Mallorca and can fly a high number of hours per month if they choose, earning competitive remuneration, and play a key role in training the next generation of ab-initio commercial pilots. Licences & Qualifications Minimum EASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a Single Engine Piston (SEP) class rating. Flight Instructor certificate, restricted or unrestricted, ideally with night privileges. Class 1 medical certificate. ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or greater. Experience Ab-initio flying instructional experience. Good instructional techniques. Additional Information Knowledge, skills and attitude sought: passion for teaching and flying, safety-minded, professional, enthusiastic, motivated, dependable, punctual and humble. To apply, complete the online Flight Instructor registration form on the company website and submit a CV, EASA CPL or ATPL licence, EASA Class 1 medical certificate and the last three pages of your logbook.
