Experienced A&P Mobile Service Technician

Job Description

Role Overview We are hiring immediately for a full-time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician) to work as a Mobile Service Technician. You can expect to maintain and repair aircraft, diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate with the crew and customers. You will assist the lead mechanic, ensure customer satisfaction and keep the service vehicle in top condition. Key Responsibilities Aircraft maintenance and repair: perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of aircraft systems; ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with established policies, procedures and quality standards Inspection and documentation: check, correct or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems; ensure compliance with FAR 43 documentation requirements and maintain accurate written reports in logs and inspection documents Parts management: order and obtain the parts needed for aircraft repairs and ensure cores are returned in line with established procedures Safety and quality control: ensure all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations and specialised services comply with quality control procedures, while monitoring the work environment and correcting unsafe acts Team collaboration: work as part of a team to meet customer expectations, assisting mechanics and avionics technicians as needed Mobile service vehicle maintenance: assist the Lead MST in inspecting, maintaining and servicing the equipment and tooling in the mobile service vehicle, and ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition with correct fluid levels, tyre pressures and other necessary inspections and repairs Licences & Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification, or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance Technician credentials Working knowledge of FAR 43 documentation requirements Additional Information Full-time position.
