About the Company Korean Air - "Connecting for a better world!" Role Overview Korean Air is recruiting entry-level pilots with military flying experience to join the airline. Application period: 1 February 2026 (Sunday) to 28 February 2026 (Saturday). Requirements Military-experienced pilots due to be discharged from service in 2027 Total fixed-wing flying time of 1,000 hours or more (rear-seat flying time excluded) No medical disqualification as defined in Article 92 of the Enforcement Rule of the Aviation Safety Act No impediment to overseas travel Licences & Qualifications Korean licences and ratings: commercial pilot licence (CPL), multi-engine land (MEL), instrument flight rules (IFR) and aviation English proficiency level 4 or above Additional Information Selection Process Document screening Knowledge assessment / English oral test / ATC evaluation / personality assessment Flying skill assessment / medical examination Executive interview How to Apply Applications are accepted only through the Korean Air recruitment website (koreanair.recruiter.co.kr). Documents to Submit The following documents should be submitted at the medical examination stage: Flight experience certificate (1 copy) Military service record certificate (1 copy) Graduation certificate for the highest level of education completed (1 copy; holders of a master's degree or above must submit certificates for all education from university level upwards) Korean licences and ratings (CPL, MEL, IFR, aviation English proficiency certificate); applicants may apply on condition that these are obtained Submitted documents are used only for recruitment purposes. Documents are returned if a completed Korean Air "application for return of recruitment documents" is submitted within 14 days of the final results announcement; documents not returned after 14 days are destroyed immediately. Successful final candidates may not request the return of their documents. Documents for which a return request has been received are sent by registered post within two weeks of the request date. Return requests should be sent to recruit@koreanair.com, and the request form can be downloaded from the recruitment website under Recruitment Information > Notices. Other Notes Detailed schedules for each stage are notified separately to candidates who pass that stage. Training costs after joining are borne by the individual, on a loan and repayment basis in accordance with company regulations. False statements in the application, or disqualifying findings such as in the background check, may result in the offer being withdrawn. Persons eligible under national veterans' benefit legislation receive preferential treatment in accordance with the relevant laws.
